The Life of Discontent
Do you feel the sunshine on your face
Do you enjoy the laughter of a child
Do you feel the wet sand between your toes
Can you drive on a Sunday afternoon, with the windows down, the music blaring and holding the hand of the person you love, no destination, its the journey
But to feel the sun, you must step outside
To hear a child's laughter you must deserve their trust
To feel the wet sand between your toes, you must venture into the ocean
To drive on a Sunday afternoon you must dare to open your heart
open to be hurt, open to be broken, open to be scared
The life of discontent is safe, but are you living?
